Come join some of Door Countys local bike riders every week for groups rides that wind through some of Door County's most scenic towns!
Rides require a road bike in good working order, a helmet, and some water. We also recomend bringing a flat repair kit just in case and some energy food or bars. These rides will start in the late spring and continue through early fall. For up-to-date times and to confirm dates call the number listed or visit our FACEBOOK page!
The BBC or "Backroads Bike Club" is headed up by Carol Boyd and is a club that is more geared towards a social, hybrid bike rider. When we talked to her this year she had this describe the club, "We welcome all recreational riders to our moderately-paced road rides through the scenic backroads of Door County. Rides are scheduled from mid-May until mid-October, and begin promptly at 10 a.m. at the location designated on our Ride Schedule; rides usually last two hours or so and cover 15-20 miles. After returning to the starting point, the group adjourns to a nearby restaurant for a sociable lunch." She also said that they never feel compelled to "cancel rides" and sometimes will just have 2 or 3 show up on those less then ideal days. You can also email her and get on her weekly list that updates how the rides went and when/where the next ride is. Her email is firstname.lastname@example.org
